SLA, standing for Stereolithography Apparatus, represents the earliest and most precise industrial-grade 3D printing technology. Its operational principle involves:
--Utilizing ultraviolet laser (typically 355nm wavelength) to perform --micron-level scanning on photopolymer resin surfaces
--Layer-by-layer curing of liquid resin following digital model contours
--Cumulative material solidification to form complete 3D parts】【
Key Applications
--Personal Collections and Fan Economy
--Original Design and Creator Incubation
--Low-volume production (50-300 pieces)
--Parent-Child Interaction and Educational Settings
--Film/Game Props and Cosplay Support
SLA 3D model making is suitable for small batch testing and has a fast delivery time. It is the best and most economical choice for the initial stage of product trial.
Advantages
Production Efficiency and Cost Control
3D-printed figurines demonstrate a clear advantage. Traditional figurine production involves multiple complex steps, such as mold making, injection molding, sanding, and painting. The cost of mold making alone can run into tens of thousands of yuan, with a production cycle typically lasting 1 to 3 months. Any design adjustments require remaking the molds, leading to significant additional costs and time delays
01
Offer Limitless Possibilities for Personalized Expression
Traditional figurines are typically mass-produced in standardized designs, leaving consumers with limited choices among existing styles and little room for customization. In contrast, 3D printing supports end-to-end customization-from character design and pose adjustments to color schemes and accessory combinations. Whether it's recreating a favorite character from a popular IP with unique features, designing an exclusive figurine of an original creation, or even incorporating personal likenesses or pet images into the design, 3D printing enables precise realization of these ideas. Each figurine can thus become a one-of-a-kind "personalized memory carrier."
02
Material Versatility – Wide Performance Simulation
According to different types of resin materials, SLA can simulate different properties such as ABS, PC, PA, etc. to meet the performance requirements of different industrial products.

Whole process
Our industrial-grade SLA manufacturing process ensures precision and quality at every stage:
Step 1: File Reception & DFM Analysis
Accepted formats: STL/STEP (Watertight models required)
Our engineers perform:
--Wall thickness verification
--Support structure optimization
--Quotation with lead time (Includes material/process options)
Step 2: Material Selection & Surface Finish Confirmation
Material consultation service:
--Application-based recommendations
--Surface finish options:
--As-printed
--Polished
--Custom painting (Pantone-matched)
Step 3: Precision Printing
After the model is imported into the slicing software, it is printed layer by layer in the SLA equipment. Usually the printing time of a part ranges from a few hours to more than ten hours, depending on the volume.
Step 4: Post-Processing
After printing, clean the residual resin with alcohol and perform ultraviolet post-curing to improve the strength and stability of the finished product.
Step 5: Finishing & Support Removal
Manual finishing:
--Support removal
--Sanding
Step 6: Quality Control & Shipping
The final products must undergo quality inspections such as size and appearance, and only after being confirmed to be free of defects can they be packaged and shipped.
(All processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. Request our full QC checklist for details.)
