Color customization is primarily achieved through three techniques: painting, oxidation, and plating, each suited to different materials and requirements.

Painting is widely applicable and can achieve matte, glossy, or gradient effects on surfaces such as plastic or metal. It offers flexible color adjustment and rapid matching of complex shades, making it ideal for electronic housings and appliance panels.

Oxidation is commonly used for aluminum alloys, forming a colored oxide layer through electrolysis. This method ensures uniform color, strong adhesion, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, often applied to smartphone frames and hardware accessories.

Plating creates metallic finishes (e.g., chrome, nickel, or gold plating), enhancing product premium feel while improving surface hardness. It is suitable for bathroom hardware and high-end electronic accessories.

Color customization finds extensive applications across industries. In consumer electronics, brand-exclusive colors for smartphone cases and earphones strengthen brand identity. In home appliances, custom colors for refrigerators or washing machines align with interior design trends, meeting personalized demands.
