Recently, with the growing demand for robotics-related projects, our factory has entered a concentrated production phase for a batch of robot casing orders. Currently, multiple robot casing projects are progressing simultaneously in the workshop, primarily utilizing CNC machining and vacuum casting processes. From structural component machining to exterior part fabrication, the overall production rhythm remains stable and orderly.

The current order portfolio encompasses enclosures for service robots, industrial robots, and smart devices, featuring diverse dimensions, structural requirements, and aesthetic specifications. Addressing these project-specific needs, our engineering and production teams conducted thorough process evaluations during the preliminary phase. Processing methods were strategically allocated based on component functionality to ensure optimal balance between product quality and delivery timelines.

Vacuum Casting Enhances Appearance Efficiency

For appearance components and small-batch trial production needs, the factory simultaneously implemented vacuum casting. Utilizing silicone molds and vacuum pouring, this method rapidly replicates housing parts, effectively meeting customer demands for appearance validation, display samples, and multi-version design testing. While ensuring appearance consistency, vacuum casting also helps customers shorten development cycles and reduce upfront investment costs.

Multiple Projects Running Concurrently, Production and Quality Managed Simultaneously

Most robot casing projects currently in production are in the R&D or trial production phase, characterized by numerous concurrent projects and relatively concentrated delivery deadlines. To address this, the production department and quality inspection team maintain close coordination, conducting process inspections at key milestones. These include dimensional verification, visual inspection, and assembly fit assessments.

For vacuum-cast components, emphasis is placed on surface quality, bubble control, and color consistency. For CNC-machined parts, critical dimensions and assembly positions are rigorously inspected to ensure seamless functionality during subsequent testing phases.
